FarmQuest Internet service, an M2M software application dedicated to intensive livestock installations such as chicken houses and hog farms, provides the subscriber with software designed for telemanagement of his controls and other farm equipment (ventilation, heating, lighting, feeding controls; weighing and access control systems). The FarmQuest Web server is hosted by one of the largest Web hosts and Internet hosting infrastructure provider in Canada. The FarmQuest software and user data are saved and accessible online, eliminating the need for a computer that must be permanently connected on the farm premises.
The FarmQuest server has a bandwidth of 100 Mbits per second. With a third-generation cellular connection to the Internet, the WebGate can relay information from your controls and equipment at a very high speed. In addition, the WebGate is very easy to install with its wireless cellular connection to the Internet.
With a FarmQuest subscription, the producer can manage his equipment from a distance via a personalized Web page adapted to his specific needs. From there, he can, in real time, receive measurements from and make adjustments on his devices, generate statistics, view his installations linked by IP cameras and grant access to his FarmQuest Web page to other users. If an alarm sets off, or when derogation to a model curve for a device occurs, the FarmQuest service informs the user by SMS or email.
